FAMILY FUN DAY 2011

Our annual Charity Family Fun Day raised an outstanding £954 this year which was split between Reydon Christmas Lights and East Anglia Childrens Hospice in Ipswich.  Over 300 guests enjoyed a traditional village fete style day with an impressive display of Stationary Engines as well.  This brings our Charitable Donations to Over £10,500 since 2005 - Thank you for your support

Community Pub of the Year 2010 – David and Donna Smith at The Randolph Hotel provide  a huge range of activities and events for the local community, from simple quiz evenings to fun packed family days. They also support local schools and clubs and judges were impressed with the vast amount of support they provide to so many areas of their community.

David and Donna donate precious time, equipment and support to areas such as promoting healthy eating within schools, fund raising events and support smaller local businesses. Much of this support is done without any recognition and they clearly truly value the community in which they live and work.

Charity Ladies Night at The Randolph - January 2011

We are delighted to announce that we raised a total of £515 for the Southwold Surgery Carers Fund on the evening.  Just over 70 ladies packed The Randolph and enjoyed a fantastic evening of food, wine and fashion.  Renown photographer Nick Catling was on hand to capture the fun of the evening and together with FASHION SHOW BY SOUTHWOLD’S FIVE CLOTHING, MAKE UP BY THE RETREAT, HAIR STYLING BY NOIR and Jewellery by Helen Thrower a terrific night was had by all.  Special Thanks to Maureen Jolley from SOUTHWOLD PHARMACY and all the models who gave up their time free of charge and to Day Harvey as Compere - David and Donna

Thanks to our Customers we have raised £1786 for local charitable groups this year during our Quiz Nights – Thank you so much to everyone who attends.   Also special thanks must go out to Jackie Martin for all her hard work compiling the quiz questions and thanks to her husband Colin for his patience! For Barrie Remblance and his calculator! 

 And to Nick and Amanda for their quiz rounds.

October 2010 - £248 was donated to Reydon Toddler Group.

November - £ 226 was donated to the friends of Southwold Hospital

December - £200 was raised for the First Responders for Southwold and Reydon

January 2011- £420 was donated to two locals girls,

Frances Goldsmith and Kate Skingley to help their charitable work.

February 2011- £226 was donated to Southwold RNLI.

March 2011- £281 was donated to St. John’s Housing Trust Lowestoft

April 2011- £185 was donated to Southwold RNLI
